Maude on the Move

Well Dear Friends, it has happened. Maude has moved over to the West side of Portland. It was no small feat. Marlene’s head is still spinning but Maude has both feet firmly on the ground - well, firmly underneath her anyway. It took two weeks and a lot of sorting but we’re ready to launch back into nourishing the people, East and West.
Right now we are focused on locating a licensed kitchen for Maude to make the Infusions and maybe even a little office space so Marlene can meet with people once a week for her famous personalized blend consultations.
Once we have the kitchen our first step will likely be the Hillsdale Farmer’s Market, just to get to know the neighbors and introduce the West side to Maude.
There seems to be a lot of good Maude-type spirit over here so the future looks bright. There is Food Front Coop, Multnomah Art Center, Barbur World Foods, Om Base Yoga, and a whole cast of Portland type characters that we’re getting to know. There is a nice stand of trees in Gabriel Park that we are enjoying and feeling nourished by, especially when the dog runs at the dog park/off leash area first that is next to it.
One thing you have to give Portland, we really know how to remember the trees. Having a good relationship to trees is a good foundation for your spiritual nourishment. Go out and walk among them! Sit down next to one and say hello! Enter Tree Time and realize what slow and fast really mean.
No doubt there will be many more adventures for Maude here. We believe the West side will become our launching pad for the great Maude adventure. How will that happen? What will that look like? Only the future knows and the future isn’t telling.
All we know for now is the Karmic Winds have blown and the West side it is for now.
