How to Make an Herbal Infusion

  1. Put the kettle on
  2. Feel the bottoms of your feet
  3. Smile
  4. Put approximately 2-3 Tablespoons of herbs in a quart jar. Touching the herbs with your hands is good. Don’t worry about measurement. Use more or less depending on your preferred strength
  5. When the kettle sings pour the boiling water over the herbs.
  6. CAP!
  7. Let stand, at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better.
  8. Strain and drink. You can reheat or chill to drink.

Store your infusion in the refrigerator. Keeps 2-3 days. Drink 2-3 cups each day.

Nourishing yourself with herbal infusions is a long-term process. Developing a daily routine of making and drinking your infusions will make it easier to keep nourishing yourself.
